 I'm very happy with the new Vortech and it's one of the most useful things to have.  All the new features on this machine are well-appreciated and it was the weight of the old Vortech that made me stop using it and switching to a Dyson stick.

I never was completely pleased with the Dyson because the suction was so poor and it missed picking up things and even spit things back out.

I wanted to compare the difference in machines just to satisfy myself and thought you may like to see it as well. I happened to vacuum the same 11" x 9" rug yesterday with the Dyson so today I went over it with the Vortech.  I saved the dirt that came from both machines and wanted to weigh the results which is over 6 times more dirt in weight... 30 grams to 190 grams.  My rug now has a brighter color!
